BarcodeMaker is designed to minimize data collection. Specifically:

• File contents — Excel and CSV files you upload are processed entirely in your browser. Files are never sent to our servers and are not stored anywhere outside your device.
• Usage analytics — Vercel (our hosting provider) may collect anonymized access logs including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is used to monitor service availability and is not linked to you personally.
• Advertising data — We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may collect data such as your IP address, browser information, and cookie identifiers to serve relevant ads.
• Contact messages — If you email us voluntarily, we store that communication to respond to you.

We use Google AdSense advertising on this website. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

Spreadsheet files you upload are never stored — they exist only in browser memory for the duration of your session and are discarded immediately when you close the tab or navigate away.

Server-side access logs retained by Vercel are subject to Vercel's privacy policy. Google's retention of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because BarcodeMaker does not store personal data beyond standard server logs, most of these rights apply to data held by Google and Vercel, which you can exercise through their respective privacy tools.

EEA and UK residents have additional rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to object to data processing based on legitimate interests.

BarcodeMaker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
